Who is behind Minka?

Who runs it?

Minka belongs to Nomads Digital Kft., a company from Hungary. We are not a casino. All details about the provider are on the imprint page.

Why Minka exists

Many games sites are loud, flashy and rushed. We wanted to do it differently. Minka has calm games with big cards and clear buttons. You are here to relax, not to hurry.

What does it cost?

Extras may come later, for example a paid “Minka Plus”. It is planned, but not live yet. There may also be ads between two rounds, never in the middle of a game. The games stay free.

• Playing is free.
• You do not need to sign up.
• An account is optional and free too. It keeps your progress on all your devices.
• You earn coins by playing. If you like, you can buy coin packs in the shop, but you never need to. Coins cannot be cashed out.

What we do not do

• No gambling and no cash prizes.
• No made-up player counts.
• We do not sell email addresses.
• Offers from partners come only by email, and only if you tick that box separately.

Where do words and pictures come from?

The word lists come from OpenTaal, enz/german-wordlist, an-array-of-french-words and dwyl/english-words. The jigsaw pictures are public-domain paintings and photos by NASA, NPS, NOAA and USFWS. The Help page lists every source.
